Bulging Disc Surgery

Surgery for a bulged disc is done to relieve chronic or severe pain and patients often report immediate relief post-surgery. Bulged disc surgery is an outpatient procedure with local anesthesia. Patients have little downtime and can usually walk soon after surgery. Surgery for a bulged disc is not always necessary and is often usually done when the patient is experiencing pain and discomfort due to the bulged disc.
